The public art of Jane Frees-Kluth is designed to be site specific and integral to the community. Jane's study of the neighborhood and the ability of her sculpture to reach end users of her artworks is extraordinary. As the public embrace her work serendipitous connections can take place.  For instance, while installing Sibling Rivalry, Jane discovered that it was sitting at the midpoint of the twin cities adding a wonderful irony to this piece inspired by a children's "tug of war" game .  Every work that Jane sculpts tells a story and every piece of public art adds to the character and legend of where it is placed.
